* o*;; Do you only have TB harmony because of the school computers? or do you actually own the program yourself? Cause that is super expensive. But I want it toooo badly. Ahhh. [[also, How many times did it take you before you got into sheridan, or were you already doing professional work before you decided to go to school there?]]
I have Harmony on my computer. I graduated from Sheridan back in 2010. I was as novice as a student can get when I applied there. You’d be surprised how much working in the industry helps speed up the skill growth. :)
Hi there, i am studying animation on my own hoping one day to doit as a job, i have experimented with flash, but i dont like the digital feel i wanted the same i do in paper but on the computer i tryed toonboom and it was cool my question is whats better for landing a job? flash or toonboom or does it even matter?should i just worry about a good hand drawn reel or vector animation is important? thank you for your attention, best regards, andre
Hi Andre. If animation is what you want to do in the industry in North America then Flash, Toonboom and Maya is your best friend. Of course solid animation foundation is necessary but without any software knowledge, very few studios are willing to spend money and time to train you.
